The Bright-Line Test for residential property was introduced in 2015 and applies to any person that has;
- Purchased properties between 1st October 2013 – 28th March 2018 and sold within 2 years.
- Purchased properties on or after 29th March 2018 and sold within 5 years can now result in taxable transactions.
